While curating art shows in his dental practice, Dr. Donald Dexter has also set up community art projects to raise funds for local nonprofit organizations. These include his “2020 R₀ Prayer Flag” whereas 60 prayer flag artworks were displayed in addition to raising $2395 for Lane Arts Council’s artists support programs and “2016 “Eugene: From Holga with Love” community photography project where 21 local business owners and community members shot a roll of film using a medium format Holga camera. Photos from each photographer were sold by silent auction, with all proceeds going to five local charity organizations.
